Where should our focus be as we approach a holy God?
A Prayer for Today
Lord, all revelation comes from you and the power to be free in truth comes from you. I approach your throne of grace for mercy and grace to help in my time of need. You are my constant companion, my help in times of trouble, ever present.
I pray for mercy to see, to repent, to live in your grace and power, and grace to know you! Remove from this heart every stubborn tie to my will and this world and, as the Great Rescuer, deliver me, a helpless sparrow, from the snare of the fowler.
You are my only hope. Fill my life with your grace.
